This software was created for stock-taking of goods stored in different places, the system consists of a mobile application (developed for PocketPC devices with framework 1.1) and a web application. The mobile devices are equipped with scanners for bar codes. A member of staff scans all goods in the storehouse. The mobile device stores the information in the repository and then sends it to the server. It can also work autonomously thus allowing checking for availability of a certain type of goods and the place where they are stored. All goods are divided into categories. In the online mode it’s possible to check if those goods are available from other storehouses and how large the stock is.
